Chakra Balancing
At Angel Wings you can receive a chakra balancing to help you through those times when your energy just feels "off"; or just to get a feeling of well-being and relaxation. I use a pendulum for testing each of the seven chakra energy centers, as well as tuning forks calibrated to each of the notes on the harmonic spectrum to treat each of the chakras. You simply lie down and relax! The chakra balancing takes about 15-20 mins. My clients report a feeling of having had a weight lifted from them, or a shift in their energy that lasts for at least a few days. A chakra balancing can help a person through the grieving process or to get over some traumatic event. Many people just enjoy having a chakra balancing done once a month to maintain a sense of well-being.

What Are The Seven Major Chakras?
Spirituality and the Connection to a Higher Consciousness.
May 18, 2009 Janis Masyk-Jackson
There are some who believe that there are seven major chakras that are the main energy centers in the bodies connected to major organs or glands. They supposedly effect us physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. The idea is that each chakra, (the Sanskrit word for "wheel,") has to move smoothly for everything in one's body to work properly, just as wheels of a chariot do.
Keeping chakras properly aligned is believed to keep the one in good health and spirit. Although considered New Age, chakras were first mentioned in the Vedas, which are the ancient Hindu texts of knowledge.
The Base Or Root Chakra
Associated with the color red, the base, or root chakra, is located at the base of the spine. It brings health and represents physical identity as well as survival. It is the first chakra and gives people their foundation.
The Spleen Chakra
The second chakra, paired with the color orange, is the spleen chakra. It represents one's emotional identity and is associated with a the person's sexual and reproductive capacities. It empowers an individual with the ability to feel.
The Solar Plexus Chakra
In the abdomen area rests the third chakra known as the solar plexus chakra. This chakra, indicated by the color yellow, encompasses personal power. It represents intelligence and confidence.
The Heart Chakra
In the middle of the chakra chain is the fourth chakra denoted by the color green. It is recognized as the heart chakra. It signifies social identity and the ability to feel love. Located in the center of the chest, it allows for forgiveness and compassion.
The Throat Chakra
The color blue is connected to the fifth chakra which is situated in the throat. It signifies creativity, communication and organization. It is the path to truth, knowledge, and wisdom. It allows for self-expression.
The Brow Or Third Eye Chakra
This indigo colored, sixth chakra, known as the brow or third eye chakra, allows one to see with both the physical eyes and one's psychic eye. This is the base for an individual's intuitiveness and can help people develop their psychic abilities. It is located on the forehead, between the eyes.
The Crown Chakra
The seventh and final major chakra is the crown chakra. This purple chakra, located at the top of the head, relates to one's spiritually and the connection to a higher power or consciousness. It deals with one's relationship with mind or spirit or as some people refer to as "God."
Keeping these seven chakras properly aligned maximizes their energy flow and helps keep an individual healthy and emotionally well.
